  • I must admit I am a complete fan of Jean-Marc Chatellier's French Bakery in Millvale, but I gave La Gourmandine a try and they come a close second. There was a line on Saturday morning even before the doors opened, and I think a line is a common occurrence. The almond croissants are quite excellent, plus I bought a classic lemon tart (Citron). I'm holding out for Jean-Marc's in terms of prices and quality, however La Gourmandine will do if I can't get to Millvale.
