  • I hate to have to review this.. but I don't sugar coat the experience. We had friends visiting and wanted to try out the Aria buffet. My boyfriend and I had never been there so we decided to give it a try. I was a bit embarrassed as you would think that for the price paid (it's WAY overpriced for the quality of food), the ambiance and the flair of Aria, the buffet would be dazzling and I pictured walking into a buffet that was over the top. It was far from. It looked like any buffet that you would go to downtown Fremont Street, namely, the Golden Nugget. The food looked as though it had been sitting for quite a while, not fresh and the serving stations were not very clean. The waitress that had our table was very nice as were the greeters at the front door. I will definitely give a thumbs up. However, had I known that the buffet was less than desirable, we would have taken them to the M Resort (which has an EXCELLENT buffet for half the price! and has an outstanding seafood night), or to the Red Rock Hotel/Casino. Granted they are off the beaten path for tourists, but well worth the drive. The sad part is that tourists do not know the myriad of wonderful buffets that surround them... off the strip but yet, not a far driving distance. The desserts were good... there was a chocolate/peanut butter dessert that was delish. So, for the dessert, I would say it was decent. We entertain friends visiting out of town quite often and we take them away from the strip and they are amazed at how many restaurants Las Vegas has. Sadly, those that are stuck on the strip end up paying outrageous prices for food that is not the quality they pay for. So, when we pick them up, or they meet up, it's away from the strip to some great local restaurants! Aria was a bit disappointing and hoping that the quality will get better. However, now we know, and in recommending food spots, that will not be one. NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
