  • I just don't get the rave reviews for this place. This was my third time here for breakfast, and it will probably be my last. It certainly won't hurt their business, though; there is always a line. Today I had a cheese omelette with potatoes and rye toast. I don't like their version of breakfast potatoes at all - way too much paprika. The omelette was good. I was dining alone and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Waiter took my drink order, brought the drink and walked away. I guess he thought I was waiting for someone to join me. He also didn't bring me any of the complimentary corn bread. I guess solo diners don't get any. Finally a different waiter took my order and food came quickly enough. Rest of wait staff was friendly and attentive. Total time here, as a solo diner, at noon on an August Sunday, was 70 minutes. Others seem to love this place. Me, not so much.
