| - I have to disagree with the previous review but then again everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is my third month of Fit Body Boot Camp in Aurora and I loved every second of it. I have never met a bunch of people who are so friendly, motivating and pushing me to my limits. I was very skeptical of trying these kind of classes but since I gained all the weight that I lost from working a new job in downtown Toronto, I really needed that extra push that Aurora FBBC has given me.
In the little three months that I have been here, I gained muscle in places I didn't even know I could gain muscle. Their trainers Yehye and Mike; they push me harder and harder every session! Now, I'm able to do 10 REAL push ups without the help of my knee. (Trust me, it's a big improvement struggling on the 2nd push up and then falling flat on my face), I'm able to do the 20lbs and 25lbs for chest press and rows (I use to always grab the 10lbs or 12lbs)! I love feeling the muscle in my arms forming!
Although these classes are a bit pricey, Aurora FBBC is worth it. You are paying for unlimited classes every month. Whether you choose to attend to all of them is your choice. I use to think that the ones that go everyday were crazy but they're not! If you were paying approx $182 and they have no classes on Sunday so that leaves 27 days of the month classes that I can attend which calculates about $6.75 per class! Also, these classes are unlimited so you can even go twice a day! You want to get your moneys worth by going to most of your classes AND to get better results! What is included in the package is unlimited classes, access to recipes and cookbook, access to all the equipment, access to Aaron's private line for your questions and concerns, weekly measurements and much more! They teach you ways you can improve your eating habits and teach you new workouts that you never have tried before! Everyday is a different workout!
Three months ago, when I first started FBBC. I was doing 3 or 4 classes every week and finding that my body was sore for 3-4 weeks. After the first month, I promise it gets easier! I no longer huff and puff when I'm climbing up the stairs. I feel stronger every single day and feel less soreness after my workouts! I sweat like CRAZY during these sessions. At regular gyms, I workout for an hour and don't sweat or feel engaged. We're doing 30 mins of full body work outs that has a burn effect throughout the day!
The atmosphere of Aurora FBBC is different from all the other places I have been to. Made lots of new friends that help motivate me to make it to every session. The staff and group are SUPER friendly. I was always iffy about going by myself but the people you meet there are so nice and non-judgy! We all have one common goal, to be a better, stronger, healthier version of ourselves.
If you are looking for a fast way in changing your lifestyle and your body, do come here. Everyone is so welcoming. Due to budgeting and capping my spending expenses, I can no longer afford these classes so this month is my last. If that wasn't the issue, I would attend these classes every single day!
TIPS:
1.) DO ASK questions. Don't be afraid to ask your trainers anything. If you're not sure if you are doing the work out correctly, ask them! If the work out is too easy, ask them how you can increase the level of intensity.
2.)They have an app called Zen Planner to easily reserve your classes. ALWAYS reserve your classes because they do get full. You can also reserve online but the app makes it easier if you are on the go.
3.) Shoes - INDOOR SHOES ONLY. Please don't be one of those people who brings their outdoor shoes to work out in. We do some floor workouts and it's not a pleasant feeling when your hand touch mud bits or small stones. If you don't have indoor shoes, you can work out in your bare feet! I usually always kick off my shoes during the work outs and forgot them one time and wasn't a big issue.
4.)You want change, don't sis out on the work outs and EAT HEALTHY. If you are working out for 30 mins and sweating and dying through the duration of it. WHY ARE YOU going to eat that burger and fries? If anything, I do not want to undo my workout. Better results when you stick to a healthier alternative. Working out and eating bad is an equation that DOES not make sense.
5.)When trainer says high fives all around, be a good sport and HIGH FIVE everyone, you just survived another session of boot camp, plus you don't want Yehye to be yelling at you. =P
