  • This neighborhood place is my favorite for anything to do with jewelry repairs - over the last twenty years I have had a pearl necklace restrung, watchbands and rings re-sized, watches cleaned, small clocks repaired, bracelet clasps fixed, stones cleaned, etc. The prices are always a surprise - less than half of other jewelry repair stores in the area. They used to be up on 6th avenue, now on McDonald and Granite Reef - I would follow Jo to the moon. She is not a PR person, she's just a good-hearted soul who knows what she's doing. I like her a lot. Don't know what I'd do if she went out of business - pay a lot more somewhere else, that's what!
