I was looking for a hair salon that was reasonably priced, but still would have great quality. I have dark Asian hair - thick and frizzy. I have been to the all the fancy-schmancy salons that charge you an arm and a leg for just a cut, color, and style, but still get mediocre results.
Thankfully a friend recommended Aloha Quality Hair Salon to me and I booked an appointment with the owner herself, Joanne. She's super sweet and down-to-earth. Joanne recommended a deep conditioning treatment with cut ($90+) for my daughter because her hair is really dry and dull. Wow! Her hair was so shiny and silky smooth just like the shampoo commercials. The before and after photo speaks for itself. My daughter was so obsessed with her hair afterwards ahaha (it's been over 4 months and it still shines).
I'm simple when it comes to hair maintenance. I only need a trim. Taking a break from coloring. I've been to other salons where they've cut wayyy more than I've asked for (grrrr). But Joanne understands us girls/women's attachment to long hair. So I was in good hands. For cut, wash, and style it came out to around $30+ Great deal if you ask me.
Also, thank you to Brittney (Jo's daughter) for always getting us in the same day. You rock.
