| - This is by far the most affordable hostel in downtown Montreal. Like most hostels, the rooms don't have much space. However, I am very pleased with the number of available bathrooms. There is one per room, but outside of the room there are 3 more available bathrooms each with a shower and sink, too!
The pillows and comforters provided are very soft and comfortable.
Without the lights on, the rooms are very dimly lit, there is only one window per area that lets in a great deal of light. Although, this is often better than using the artificial light that is very harsh and bright.
The breakfast offered is extremely generous because it offered toast, coffee, tea, and a wide selection of cereals!
The only downside was that the front desk attendant was very little help to us. He did not know where we could find parking and he wasn't very knowledgeable on what was happening downtown.
On the bright side, this hostel is in the heart of downtown and it's right next to a parking garage for University students at Concordia. We have been parked there for a few days now & so far so good (keeping our fingers crossed!!!)
