| - I've been here twice now, once for a late dinner and once for a business lunch. Dinner was very crowded, but service was fast. We were in a booth that didn't really sit the number we had in our party, so if you have a larger group try to snag a table! We were lucky to get there early for lunch and snagged a booth, much more comfortable for two people, but service was very slow. They did offer to comp a milkshake to enjoy during the wait, but as my friend had already ordered one we did not take advantage.
For dinner I had a southwest salad which was delicious! I looked forward to ordering it again for lunch, but found they had redone their menu and it was no longer available. For lunch I ordered the spicy Hawaiian "sorta burger." The chicken burger included a slab of pineapple, not just a round which was a nice touch - pineapple all the way through - but the sandwich as a whole was a little too wet and the chicken wasn't very flavorful. The only spice I really got was when biting into a jalapeƱo, even though there was spicy aioli and pepper jack cheese as well, it didn't really add up to "spicy" all the way through.
We also shared an order of the Parmesan truffle fries. The fries had obviously been sitting around while our food cooked. The truffle cream made them soggy and they were almost room temperature. Pretty disappointing. This restaurant may have earned four stars if the fries had come out earlier than our food when the kitchen was backed up, rather than being offered a free milkshake.
I really want to like this place. The atmosphere is cool and the food is very fresh, but I just haven't experienced the right combination of service and taste yet.
