I finally decide to try this place as I was in the area. And i got both the baked cheese tart and the double fromage cheesecake.
The baked cheese tart ($8.75) is a molten tart. The girl at the shop told me i can just eat it as is straight out of the fridge. So i tried that and i didnt like it. The pastry was thick and soggy. But the filling tasted good still. Not too impressive. I bought another one to take home and share with my family. I decided to put that one in the oven for 10 mins before serving it and baaaaam! It was sooooo good. A small cut through the crispy flaky crust, the cream cheese filling rushing out. Everyone reli liked it. But ive had similar tarts before.
The double fromage cheesecake was new to me. I kept it in the freezer and served it straight out of the freezer. A layer of frozen cheesecake on top of a layer of baked cheesecake. Somehow its like the perfect combination! I loveeeeee it. But i do think its a bit pricey for a 4.5" cake ($18.75).
Overall, i reli liked it. Great service. Oh! And the packaging is pretty cute too. My favourite color theme and the wooden box for the double fromage cheesecake. If packaging matters to you. Its alwys a plus for me :)
They also had this shelf that displayed all these japanese treats. The infamous banana cake, vday version too
