Just arrived from the Scottsdale mall at around 7pm sat. The place had one booth and one table taken. We took a booth. It was a first visit, we announced it and we're welcomed. We ordered a sausage and peppers large sandwich and an eggplant large sandwich with 2 sodas. We got up and walked around to see all of the items they sold in the rest of the store. . While the restaurant section menu prices are more in line to being reasonable a large homemade excellent fresh made sausage is $5.99 a lb. about 3/4 of one sausage. You decide. Our sausage and peppers hero was excellent and the toasted bread perfectly crunchy and the red sauce just right. The price was excellent for the large sandwich.. The eggplant sandwich was also excellent. We took home a meat ball sandwich which was very nice but not as good as Casanova Brothers sandwiches in GILBERT. They are #1. I definitely give GUIDOS #2 and when in SCOTTSDALE mall it's a short ride to Shea Blvd for some delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices. 3 large sandwiches a coke and ginger ale plus tax $41.00 and we had enough for a 2nd dinner the next night and a half and a little more! Very nice atmosphere and Maria was a pleasant server!
