This place offers a great deal depending on the vision insurance that you have. My insurance would cover a yearly exam but when I buy two pairs of glasses here it's waived anyways. My insurance also gives me $200 towards lenses and frames each year so I always end up with two pair of their most expensive frames for under $100 out of my own pocket.
The people that work here are certainly characters. Some of them less professional than others. Some of them will definitely make you question what if any education they've had to be qualified to be doing these services. For me, I have such a minimal prescription and rarely wear my glasses that it works fine for me. If you have any specific conditions with your eyes or just feel like you need an in depth exam, I would skip this place.
One of the most annoying parts about this place is that they lock their high end frames. I get it, there is the risk of theft. But it is annoying that you can't try them on unless an associate is with you and helping you. At my most recent appointment, after my eye exam I had to wait 15-20 minutes for an associate to call me. While I was able to browse the lower end frames, I had to wait to try on the higher end frames which just wasted more time because I could have had them picked out and decided during the 15-20 minutes that I was waiting.
When you order your glasses they tell you that they take about 2 weeks to arrive. Last year when I ordered glasses this was about right. We will see how long my latest order takes!
