I love you Cedar Lee....came here for the first time to catch the Late Shift playing of The Big Lebowski for....$5!! Seriously? I mean, I know it's an older movie, but dang that's still cheap to see it up on the big screen. I used to frequent Crocker Park for all my theater needs, but that's because I didn't know Cedar Lee and the Capitol existed...and I haven't been out to the big ugly chain since November.
Cedar Lee has more screens than it's cousin on the West side, which means it has a larger movie selection, but still has that cool vibe that you want to experience when going to see an Indie flick.....uh, and I mean they serve alcohol. ;o)
Check out their mid-week specials and I promise you will increase your trips to the movie theater just to take advantage of some of the deals.
The cult films that they show are especially great....I think a trip out to catch the Rocky Horror Picture Show is a must once the weather warms up so I can go in full costume! Perhaps another Yelp event in the works?
