Cold Stone as in Stone Cold expensive. Bring your wallet, bring your spouses wallet, knock over a Brinks truck, get a second mortgage if you want more than two scoops.
Maybe not all that bad but the value proposition here is really lacking. Maybe if you do all the "add-ins" and play that game, this might be an easier pill to swallow.
Old School. Just wanted a scoop of ice cream and hot fudge. Period. Five dollars. Maybe if I was at Chase Field I could understand it. The hot fudge was neither hot or fudgey. Actually quite runny and unsatisfactory. The salted caramel ice cream was surely not a premium product. The flavor didn't pop much and really didn't compliment the hot fudge (or vice versa).
I'm probably fortunate that Cold Stone is at Desert Ridge rather than Baskin Robbins as I'd be outfitting myself with elastic pants. I love ice cream and only buy it as a treat and I can safely say there isn't elastic pants compliments of Cold Stone in my future.
