rev:text	I am such a nerd and as such I love the ROM, drinks or not! It's such an experience, mostly because of the building itself and how large it is but also because you can walk through the batcave tipsy... The dance floor on the second floor is amazing. The first night we went the DJ was going through the decades chronologically - so much fun listening to elvis, beatles james brown, madonna and ending with some good 90's tunes. They bring in food trucks, smaller restaurants and set them up throughout the open areas. It's great because most of the portions are tapas size so if you're looking for dinner you can try a few different items or if you want you can snack as you go! Bands are also setup throughout the rooms which makes it so much more dynamic! There is usually a table setup with ROM employees where you can go and touch bones and stuff...I felt like I was 8 again ooo-ing at moose antlers. Great for: -date night -night out with friends -after work drinks Rules: 1) I would never show up without a ticket in hand. The lineup is insanely long, it goes way down University and in the cold it can be such a waste - does no one realize you can buy tickets online beforehand?! 2) You must purchase tickets for food/drink, the lineup is long so know how much you want beforehand! 3) I found tipping to be awkward - as I waited in line I noticed nobody was tipping the bartenders and I don't know if I was surrounded by idiots or if it had to do with the ticketing system but I was really disappointed in others. TIP YOUR BARTENDERS! They are allowed to accept tips if you are concerned about that.
