| - It seems that my review is pointless as a majority of the reviews for this place are terrible, however I feel strongly enough about this to post it anyway. NEVER in my entire 27 years on this Earth have I received such rude, unhelpful treatment.
My family has been owners of Mercedes vehicles for 30+ years. My parents swear by them partly because of the excellent customer service they receive when servicing the cars at the dealerships. It's like being part of a club.
Used to the friendly and helpful treatment I am familiar with, I arrived here with all kinds of maintenance lights going off on my vehicle (I know nothing about cars so can certainly not diagnose it myself), the air conditioning broken, the key out of battery, and the windshield wiper stuck halfway up my windshield. Far from home, I googled the nearest Mercedes dealer and unfortunately was led here. Clearly upon arrival I was frazzled and upset by the sudden acting out of my car, and was unsure about my safety in attempting to drive back home in uptown Charlotte.
After one person told me to wait so that he could bring another person to tell me to wait some more for him to bring yet another woman who told me to wait, finally some guy was sent out to tell me they could do nothing for me. I said that is fine but if they could just take a quick look at the light to see if I was safe making it back home, to which he insisted that they simply do not have the time to turn on my car and view the dashboard. After a back and forth on this topic that lasted way longer than just looking at the light would have, I was so upset and frazzled I agreed to leave and make an appointment. HOWEVER, due to the ridiculously inconvenient set up of the place I was surrounded by cars on all sides and couldn't even leave for an additional 10 minutes so I just angrily sat there wasting gas.
