Haven't seen any reviews for bio gel for this place so was hesitant at first but after reading all the great reviews on shellac I thought I might just take a chance and hope for the best.
I asked for bio gel nails (with extension) 45$ plus shellac on top which was an extra 10$. In total I paid 65$ with tip and it was worth every dollar.
Firstly, the lady who did my nails her name was Dee, I believe. She was very friendly and she knew what she was doing from beginning to end. Even though the store was getting busy, she didn't rush but managed her time really well to satisfy myself and other customers.
All the staff members seem really nice, they even give you a cold water bottle as you sit down and do your nails.
After trying mostly all the nail salons on the Danforth I think I've finally found this hidden gem.
UPDATE: after coming back a couple times for refills my thoughts on this place has changed. Firstly, I'd like to say they gave me a very good first impression from my last review. But I've noticed that the one lady that was doing my refills, I don't know if it's the way she did it or she didn't let my gel cure properly (because it was busy)but my nails started breaking easily and when I came in to get it fixed they would charge me 5$ per broken nail. Like at that point it was cheaper for me to get a new set. Although the outcomes of my nails are pretty each time, they don't last for long compared to other places. The shellac cracks within a week which is not normal!! Although their service is still good, i just don't know how I feel about going in to the salon every 6/7 days....
