  • I have had bad experiences w lash extensions before so I chose very carefully. I love lash extensions but it's really hard to find quality technicians. After reading all the reviews I figured this was a safe bet. Boy was I wrong. I was going to a festival and was going to be out there a full week. Since I got the extensions 2 days before leaving, there should have been no problems. A few days into the festival my lashes started to get a little irritated. I've worn lashes for years before and know how to maintain them. I wasn't wearing make up and avoiding oils on my lids or even touching them. My prior tech used to say how my lashes would last the longest. Still, after just a few days, the lashes started to fall out. Every day the irritation intensified and finally I tried removing what I could see was about to fall off. Needless to say, it was not the look I was going for. As soon as I got back into town I contacted her to remove them immediately. When she saw the state of my lashes she explained that she had been concerned of my sensitivity to the glue and had obviously not put enough on. During the original session I had explained to her that I had worn lashes for years, so why was she so concerned? Also, shouldn't she be experienced enough at this point to know how much glue is needed? I never mentioned any sensitivities so I really can't understand why this happened, why she would have been concerned. Especially when she knew I was going to a festival and would not be available if something went wrong. She did not offer me a refund. She just said sorry and that was it. By that night, I developed pink eye in one eye. When I woke up the next morning, it was in both eyes. Someone had to drive me to the dr. Seriously, visiting here was one of the biggest mistakes I made last year. Ruined my festival and sent me to the dr! I no longer bother trying to get lash extensions. I bought Latisse and grow my own lashes now. I save tons of money and have peace of mind. It's just not worth the health of my eyes.
