  • If I could give a ZERO stars here I wouldn't even give 1 star!!!! I'm BEYOND disgusted at pharmacist or pharmacy techs lack of care and concern for another human being!!! I am a struggling single mother that has no extra cash right now. I have zero co-pay on my insurance EVER!!! I just got out of the hospital for the 2nd time this week. I was diagnosed with cellulitis in my armpit on Wednesday, the antibiotics they gave me aren't enough. The infection continued to spread and has gone into my lymph nodes in my armpit. Needless to say I'm in tears at the pain as its running deep into my breast and I can't lift my arm. They didn't give me my meds at the ER because I have no one to drive me. SOOOOOO I drive out of my way 20 minutes to this walgreens to then walk around for 10 mins to then to be told they can't fill my prescriptions tonight unless I pay cash that I don't have because they can't get paid through my insurance until tomorrow because the insurance system is down. Meanwhile I have a vicious infection that is continuing to spread and can't get my antibiotics or my pain meds. My Dr instructed how important it was that I get them filled tonight because I needed to take a full days dosage of the antibiotics tonight. This would be the point that you make whatever accommodation you can for a severely I'll individual. I've gone to walgreens for years you can't run my insurance in the morning I've not had a co- pay in 10 years and got scripts at the same location 2 weeks prior.... Nope the money is more important than the well being of a human life. Or how about this.. I've also had pharmacist give me 1 dosage and then fill rest next morning in extenuating circumstances such as this... The woman there had no care or concern to help with a work around whatsoever. I even called back and asked her to do that for me and she said she couldn't. I explained my situation and she callously replied with you can come back in the morning. Then she told me 2 times that this is a routine thing for my insurance every weekend as if I should know that already or like I'm sorry I didn't plan to get sick at a better time for your pharmacy!!! Thank you I may cry myself to sleep tonight in pain again for the 4th night in a row and feeling nauseated and with a severe headache from this infection. There has got to be a point where you teach your techs how to have some care for the people they work with and for and not just act like this drone that can't do the right thing once in awhile. Now I won't be able to get my scripts until easily 1 or 2 pm in the afternoon because I have church on Sunday morning and walgreens pharmacy by my house doesn't open until after I start church. I'm ever so disgusted with Walgreens Pharmacy for the last time!!!!!! I will NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK EVER!!!!!! This was the last straw of reoccurring bad customer service at all Walgreens Pharmacies ..... I will make sure to share my experience and refer every one I know to any other pharmacy but Walgreens!!!
