  • I lost my mother in October of 2014, and I requested a death certificate by the end of the second week of January in 2015. I have still not received the death certificate and have no idea where it is at. Moral of the story is they will be fast kind and prompt when you are buying coffins, plots, and burial arrangements through them. When it comes to something that inconveniences them they cut corners (I.E. Strange post mortem markings and staples that were partially visible.) Now I see why the place we laid my mother to rest warned us about using them as a funeral home.
