  • I went to Martel's salon for the first time yesterday. I asked Kim to give me a relaxer. and I stressed to her that I did not want a hair cut. Kim proceeded to show me the hair style that she would give me. The style showcased my long hair. My natural hair was about 4 inches below my shoulder. Since I had a some breakage, she convinced that I needed a small trim. Kim cut my hair so short that I only have 1 inch of hair remaining from my forehead to the crown of my head. I now have a BALD HEAD MULLET. When I complained about my hair, she suggested that I buy a WIG, a HEADBAND, or wear a CAP. She charged me $75.00, I gave her $80.00 and she tried to keep the change. The next day I went to another stylist. I must now wear a weave and since she cut my hair so short the pieces had to be glued in because it is not long enough to braid. If you value your hair, stay away from Kim at Martel's. She only values your money
