  • To put this kindly, this was one of my most unpleasant bus rides that I've taken. After this experience, I won't be taking Greyhound from Las Vegas to OC/LA again. Firstly, this bus station is very understaffed. The whole station is made for 100 people and there were over 200 people there. The waiting area was very overcrowded. Lines were blocking entrances. Boarding took way longer than usual. The bus was about 40 minutes behind schedule. The staff was nice, but there definitely were not enough workers. The bus ride took over nine hours. The original bus was scheduled for 6 hours. The buses were so delayed that people missed their connecting buses. It was so overcrowded that people had to sit on the floor of the bus. The bus smelled like the bathroom the entire ride. There were food smudges on the seats. Each stop was around thirty minutes, which delayed the trip greatly. I honestly don't know why the driver kept stopping for so long. She had said initially that each stop would only be ten minutes. I was very frustrated. Overall, this experience was not one I would like to have again. We were supposed to arrive at 9:40 pm and we arrived at 12:40 pm. I truly hope that Greyhound takes steps to improve this service. I would recommend taking a plane or renting a car. It's more economical and faster. WiFi did not work.
