What a lovely event dinner! We had 18 people reserve the private bar/dining room for a dinner meeting. It was a delightful room, comfortable and casual.
Their menu has plants to offer. Everything out if the kitchen looked great! The nachos are a piece of art. And the salads and sandwiches looked great. Their onion rings were also tempting - big and crispy.
We opted for the fish and chips and were very pleased. Everything was crispy and I liked their variation in Cole slaw.
They have a HUGE selection of beers on tap. And thus was my one recommendation for improvement. I ordered the Tripel Pineapple, which was light and delicious. However, the beer was barely cold. This is 100 degree weather. I expect a frosty glass and cold beer.
I know it was Friday night, and they were busy but they kept running out of glasses. But that made for a long wait for our beer. Which is the whole reason for choosing this establishment. Hmmm. Want to earn my 5th star? Make my beer cold and serve it fast. And keep that good food coming!
