  • Just moved to Charlotte from NJ and I'm a manicure fanatic. Coming from the tri-state area I'm used to amazing regular manicures at a really good prices ranging from $8-$12 for a reg or french mani. I researched nail salons in Charlotte and found Polished. I saw they charged $15 for a regular mani and how outrageous I thought it was, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and see what I got for $15. Besides a complimentary glass of wine there really wasn't a difference between my $8 mani in NJ and the $15 one here. Honestly, I thought the mani at Polished was horrible! The place was dirty inside, "bar" chairs were super uncomfortable, they don't use new or clean tools and i didn't see a sanitizing machine anywhere and the manicurist didn't ask how i wanted nails shaped and my nails were filed very unevenly. I'm totally unimpressed and disgusted with the Polished chain. Ladies of Charlotte, you're getting ripped off. Find a cleaner, less expensive place that will do your nails right and actually get what you pay for!
