We were very disappointed. They charge approx. 25-50% more for night tours vs daytime (depending on if ur a local or not) and my friend and I almost held off on doing the tour until the Fall so that we could save money on the daytime price and not be melting under the hot Summer sun. However, we really wanted to see the signs lit up at night so that is why we paid the extra price to see the tour at night. Unfortunately the vast majority of the neon signs were not turned on (whether in complete condition or not). And most were sparsely lit w colored bulbs so u could barely make out how they're supposed to look. And they came out very dark in pictures. It was cool knowing u were a few feet away from many pieces of history, but we would've def preferred to actually SEE the signs we paid to see...i feel like the website should state that most signs are poorly lit so people can make an educated choice about what tickets to purchase.
