  • I originally signed up for the Sun, Wed, & Sat delivery. It was a promotion for 6 months. At the end of the 6 months my price went from the $5 a month to $12 and some change. No biggy. In November I got billed for close to $20! I call to see why, it's for the Black Friday ads. I don't even leave my house on black Friday so I don't want that in the future. Too bad I'm told it's mandatory. What? Why? So a few more months have gone by, & I have decided to cancel my subscription. Reason why, I only receive about one Wednesday paper a month for starters. I never receive any grocery ads in it when I do get it, so now I find myself picking up my Wed. & Sat. papers from the yard and immediately tossing them in the recycle without even looking anymore. I really only get the paper for the Sunday coupons, & I can buy that for $8 a month if I just pick it up on my way to work. Heck last week I got the Wed. paper & looked in it just to see what was in it, & for the first time there were coupons in it! No ads, but coupons? Weird I know. So back to canceling, I have called 3 times in the last week and sat on hold for over 40 minutes each time, with no one ever picking up. Today I log into my bank account, and find that now I'm being charged over $20!! Why!!?? When my papers say that my normal rate is the $12.80 a month after my promotional period. Again I call to cancel, they're closed, how convenient. I go online and there are all sorts of links for everything except to cancel! There is no way to cancel online. You MUST talk to an agent it says. Even if you call after hours it says you MUST speak with an agent. How can we do that if an agent NEVER picks up!??? I want to cancel my subscription, so someone please pick up the phone if you don't mind!
