| - Not your ordinary gym! I love Raw fitness! This place has a sense of community, and pride. I started with the 6 week challenge- probably one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. I was so motivated I signed up for another 6 months. I just knew if I didn't stick with the gym then I'd go back to being fat and lazy. And I'm tired of being fat and lazy!
Some of my favorite things about the gym are-
if you feel like you don't know what you're doing- you're not alone, and someone close by will help guide you!
The trainers are amazing! They're friendly, fun, and encouraging. They don't yell at you or put you down if you're not doing well, instead they help you fix what you're doing so you're doing things right and making the best of your workout.
The ladies at the front desk are incredible- some patience can be required if you have a question and so do the 10 other people around you, but once you get your time they're super helpful, super sweet, and make you feel like you're important too.
My ONLY complaint is the "nutrition" program- or whatever you want to call it. I feel like Lisa (the nutritionist) doesn't truly have time to give every single member the understanding they need to really succeed. When I came in for my "after the challenge one on one", what was suppose to be a 20 minute sit down with her, was a super quick- rushed- 5 minutes where she said a bunch of things really fast and I couldn't tell you a single thing she told me to do, Followed by an email which, after 3 weeks, I'm still trying to decipher and truly UNDERSTAND and figure out. I've asked questions to try and understand better but I really feel like that time and understanding were jipped and I'm just kind of wingin'it in that area.
Other than that Justin has built an incredible empire with ALL Raw fitness gyms and I'm truly proud to be a member!
