We were lucky enough to visit Phoenix when the weather was still relatively mild (80s), so of course the Desert Botanical Garden seemed like a great choice for an outing. I enjoyed learning about the different flora and fauna here on the various themed walking loops.
In addition, the Chihuly in the Garden exhibit is currently showing, and that was awesome. The glass sculptures were impressive and beautiful, and I felt like I was getting a special treat each time I spotted one on the walking path. The colors and shapes of the installations were inspired, and the plants and glass complemented each other.
I'd recommend this garden highly, even with the steep entry price. Just don't forget your sunscreen!
