This is both an update and a response to James B's message (Sparkle Tech rep). James is correct--Sparkle Tech has never been to my house nor performed any service for me. This is as I stated in my review. The issue is the exorbitant additional fee they sprang on me the night before my appt. That rep was VERY rude from the get-go. The woman I scheduled with months earlier was very polite and I clarified at that time exactly what the fees would be and there was no mention of additional fees. No mention of this in the Groupon fine print either.
It is important to note that I have since scheduled another company to come out. Their price includes sills, tracks, and screens and comes to $230. This is $10 LESS than the upcharge Sparkle Tech wanted to charge me!
It is also interesting to note that there are 22 other one-star reviews, all with very similar experiences to mine, that have been filtered out! You can see them by clicking on the grey link beneath the published reviews.
Finally, I do not fault Groupon here. They very promptly credited my account upon receiving my complaint about Sparkle Tech.
