  • If you plan on purchasing used I suggest you reconsider. My girlfriend and I were recently sold a used 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid that was claimed to be "certified" as in passing all vehicle inspections and we, as buyers, were buying in good faith a vehicle with no issues. However after taking it on the test drive WITH the sales associate we all noticed there was low tire pressure indication on the dash as well as a very noisy automatic driver-seat mechanism. Both cosmetic issues that we were promised they will fix the seat and "inspect the tire." Soon We came to an agreement on the point of sale and also to bring the car back to the dealer for the driver seat motor since it was not working properly. And as it turns out, It was too good to be true. The tire continued to be faulty and lose pressure a couple days later and turned out to have a slow leak. Upon my request for new tires for the car, knowing it was a stretch, I was denied and further more denied for a tire replacement. I now have a complete flat tire and no replacement option provided by Hyundai of Las Vegas. After taking the car down to discount tire, a cotton plug patch attempt from the dealer turned out to be a failure. The tire expert stated the plug was recently attempted and did not hold, therefor concluding the job was done recently and was an existing issue. Essentially, I had to purchase a new tire on my own on a car that a dealer claimed to be a "certified" vehicle. This is a huge violation of a sale for a certified vehicle, considering they did not resolve all safety issues. Evidently the monetary transaction is more important than the safety of the buyer. If that's how they choose to conduct business, DO NOT make the same mistake I made and look to buy somewhere else.
