I had the worst nail experience at The Hills Salon and Spa.
Upon entering the salon I thought I was in for a treat. Crystal chandeliers adorned every stylists station. I was puzzled because it was such a beautiful salon, but no one was getting services done. There was one gentlemen getting a haircut, and one other nail tech giving a manicure, but aside from that it was empty. The front desk was pleasant, but that is where the good service ended. The nail tech told me several times she hated doing gel manicures. Really?
Cuticles were cut until they bled. Nails were filed down with electric file until they were paper thin.
The gel manicure and pedicure was a complete disaster.
The polish was never put on properly and was smeared all over my feet. My manicure looked like a five year old did it. I asked her to remove the polish from my hands as it looked so bad. The experience lasted 2 1/2- 3 hours. I left with my nails looking worse then when I came in.
The Groupon was never redeemed ( it shouldn't have been), and the owner did reach out to me to apologize. She told me she wanted me to come back for the manicure/pedicure compliments of the salon.
While I applaud her initial apology and offer of a complete redo of my spa experience, she never followed through.
I ended up going to a terrific Asian salon where they explained that my nails had been severely damaged from my bad experience at The Hills salon. I gathered as much.
I don't recommend The Hills Salon and Spa.
