| - We've been coming to BTrust supermarket for close to twenty years. Actually, it wasn't BTrust in those days, it was called H&H but it's in the same location and still quite similiar.
It's pretty much your average Asian grocery store, but for some reason this one remains my favourite despite having at least 4 others within a pretty close distance.
I think what I like best is that there is always a great variety of vegetables and fruits at a great price (generally cheaper than T&T) and the meats are also priced very reasonably.
The fish area is always packed full of many different varieties and never once in all of the years we've been going, have I smelled a fishy or 'off' smell. I guess because there's such a great turnover of inventory, it never gets a chance to sit there and start smelling. Also, the fish prices are very reasonable.
The hot/prepared food area is quite large and always with a great variety. Their bbq pork and/or bbq pork ribs are delicious and generally priced cheaper than any of their competitors.
The one drawback is that on weekends, it's a madhouse. Plenty of parking, which is great but huge lineups at the cash registers. If you can, shop there on weekdays, when this isn't an issue.
They accept debit, credit and cash which is handy except in the express line where it's cash only.
