This is the worst hospital that I ever encountered, front desk was very rude and apparently unhappy with her job.. When I was called back the person was very cold I felt like I was being booked into tent city... horrible bedside manner.... the first nurse that put my IV in was very nice and attentive but after she left the next one bearly checked on me at all did not even give me a call button incase I needed it and keep in my that I came in because I was having difficulty breathing... After about three hours the doctor finally came in again and talked to me and I explained to him that I had chest tightness and shortness of breath and he said " we didn't want to give you a breathing treatment because your pulse and blood pressure were high but seems to be normal now so we will do that and give you IV steroids." So why didn't anyone convey that to me ??? After the treatment I felt better and was able to breath but waiting three hours to be told that is unacceptable... this place was very unprofessional, I work in the medical filed and was appalled by what all the nurses were talking about loudly at the nurses station... finally a nurse comes in to discharge me and gives me my paperwork and says you're ready to go walks out leaves me there connected to a cardiac monitor and I pulse ox that is taped to my finger, I had to disconnect everything but my IV so if I weren't in the field how would I know what to do ???? I will never return and will make sure that nobody I know does either.... I am a tax paying citizen and pay a lot of money per month for insurance and was treated like I was at a county hospital.. I would rate this place a zero if it were an option...
