  • This is my neighbourhood Shoppers but I stopped going here a while ago because of the generally unfriendly pharmacists. For the sheer sake of convenience I dropped off a prescription two weeks ago, knowing that it usually has to be ordered but always arrives within two or three days. What a stupid mistake. I went back today to pick it up only to be informed that 1) it didn't come in, 2) it's indefinitely backordered, and 3) they wouldn't order the alternative drug without hearing from my doctor. Point three is fair enough, but it would have been really nice if they'd told me TWO WEEKS AGO that the drug wouldn't be available so i could have arranged for an alternative with my doctor, since his office tells me that either I need to book an appointment with him or that the pharmacy needs to contact his office, which it apparently has no plans on doing. Never coming here again.
