This little laundry gem isn't the closest one to my house, but I make the extra walk. The main reason I love this place is because they have a television with cable! When you have to spend over an hour at a laundromat there's no better way to kill time than by watching television. There have been times where I am watching a baseball or hockey game at home and continue watching it while I wash my clothes.
But there's more... This place has three classic arcade games: Bust-A-Move, Ms. Pac Man and Rygar. All of these games only cost a quarter and are another great way to kill time, even though the Rygar game seems to be busted.
The laundromat is owned by the convenience store next door, so if you need change, detergent or snacks then you're hooked up. They also have the laundromat on surveillance camera so no funny business, but it's nice to know they are paying attention in case someone tries to steal your clothes. Oh, and the people working there are super nice and friendly.
On nice days you can hang out in the backyard and have a seat on various chairs lying around. And an adorable neighbourhood cat might even make an appearance and hang out with you while you fold your clothes. The machines and dryers both work fine. $1.25 for the washers and 25 cents per 7 minutes on the dryers.
