| - UPS is the worst!!! How are they in business?
Yesterday afternoon I opened my front door to find it blocked with a huge package that literally took up the whole width of my front door. The delivery driver was already in the truck and drove away before I could shift the box and see that it wasn't meant for me. Looks like it's furniture, so big and heavy. The house number was the same as mine, but not the rest. The end of the day and the UPS driver just wanted to dump this package and be done.
So, I've now called the UPS 1-800 number three times and spoken with 5 customer service reps, who all took the tracking number, my address and all tried to get my personal information, which I refused. They ALL wanted my personal information, as if I was their customer. I'm not, and never will be, as I stopped using UPS 20 years ago because they delivered my packages to the wrong address every time. Every time.
Their website doesn't have a way for me to report a package delivered to the wrong address, because clearly this is the first time it's ever happened.
**UPDATE** This package spent 15 minutes short of 24 hours on my porch. It was taken away just because a UPS truck was delivering to my neighbor and I went out and got the guy to take the package. And then he actually defended his co-workers, telling me that the street names, which aren't similar at all, could get confusing. But he took the package to deliver it to the customer.
