| - This is a huge H&M which is easy to navigate and shop for styles if you are not looking for a specific item. However it always runs out of the petite (2,4,6) sizes and you will have to look through two floors in order to look for one specific item or go through messy piles of clothes for your sizes. To avoid lineups at change room, go to the bottom floor (kids area) or the mens floor because there is merely any lineups there.
I usually come here when I'm just window shopping, and if I'm looking for a specific item/size, I go to the Queen's street store because it would always has my size and not as packed.
I would have given this store a four stars if it wasn't of my recent experience - I was looking for a specific skirt, it didn't have my size available on the rack but it was available on a mannequin. I asked the staff/store manager if he could take the skirt off the mannequin. And pardon my imperfect english, I pointed at the skirt on the mannequin and asked to take this dress off. He rolled his eyes and asked "what are you looking for? This is a skirt not a dress." I think an acceptable salesperson would be able to guess I meant the skirt not the dress. Then he told me to wait here for five minutes because he had other stuff to do (while he was just reorganizing the racks) I had to call him out for two other times before he could come assist me. When he finally came, he said are you sure thats your size because I'm not taking it off if you are not buying it. I said yes I'm between a size 4 or size 2. At that point I was already offended I rather buy this dress at another store, so I told him ok if you're not willing to take this off, could you check if another store has my size? He replied "no this is considered a weekend (friday night) and no stores would be available to pick up my calls". He wouldn't take this skirt off for me unless I'm definitely buying it, and he told me to try another skirt for size 4 to see if it fits. So I tried another skirt in size 4 and it fits perfectly, and I went to him asking if I could get the skirt. He kept complaining how he would not take stuff off the mannequin especially on Fridays and weekends and I should really appreciate for he did in a really rude tone. Given his attitude, I only wanted to say thank you (in a really rude way as well). While taking down the mannequin, I offered to help to show my gratitude and all he said was "DO NOT TOUCH". While I understand it would be absolutely a mess if every customer take things off the mannequin, he could have helped me in a better manner or check another store for me instead. You should never be rude to your customers when I was never rude to you in the first place.
At the end, the dress was too loose for me and now I have to go to another store to exchange for another size. If it wasn't for my coupon, I would have shopped at another store, but it turned out I would have used that coupon at other stores too. End of story, the store manager is rude. You have to realize people can go to other stores because every H&M store carries the same thing. What differentiates is the customer service and the availability of sizes.
