  • I visited Toronto last month to see family and out of the other low-cost motels and hotels I have stayed at downtown, this hostel was my favorite! The rooms were very clean, the beds cozy, it was in a safe area and the owner was very kind. He even gave me a room with a private bathroom with no extra charge (I originally booked the room with the shared bathroom). There is a kitchen area where you can use the refrigerator and microwave and there is also a table with chairs ; you have to clean up after yourself however. There was a hairdryer and soap dispense in the bathroom and a TV in my room with a nice selection of channels. my room was in the basement and while there was some noise from rooms next to me and upstairs, it did not bother me. There are also books and computers for you to use upstairs, free wifi and a shuttle service to go to niagara falls I believe every day. I will definitely stay here again if I can when I return to Toronto.
