  • I love the W. I have for years since I was 19 and exploring Chicago. Came by to visit some friends in town and I guess because of Labor Day weekend they were being super aggressive and strict. I get it. But maybe balance the intensity with guest interaction and hospitality. The hotel was clean and staff well dressed. The valets were great and efficient. The pool staff were friendly and quick. The pool itself was a little weak as far as hotel pools go, the dj was a fun touch but seemed a little forced given the crowd. All in all a great visit with what I'm sure they feel was appropriate measures to keep things tame and in line. Just don't forget the majority of people spending dollars here aren't nuts and expect a little more of a friendly vibe.
