Veteran's was recommended by my Home Warranty company (Fidelity). I made the claim on a Thursday and was not called until Monday. The warranty specified that they should call within two business days. I don't know when veteran's was actually contacted, but if this had been a more urgent matter, 5 days would have been a long wait. Just saying. What I absolutely loved, was that they were willing to check the equipment and do the install without me having to wait around for them. It seems that Veteran's gets a lot of negative comments about punctuality....this element was taken out of the equation for me and it worked out nicely. There was one hiccup with the actual work: after the inspection, they forgot to flip the switch on the power to the unit and I had cold water one morning....I was able to figure it out quickly, but had a very unenjoyable shower that morning. I gave them that feedback and they apologized. I would recommend that their communication with their home warranty be improved, but the work itself seems good (I'm only two days into my new hot water heater).
