  • The multiple listing service is essential for doing business in residential real estate. Its a great tool. Lots of features from networking among other REALTORs to document processing. Buuuut, the politics. Eeesh! GLVAR is gigantic political lobby. That part isn't great. Is voting important? Yes! Go vote, but, no one likes the strong push in any direction. Comes off as fear mongering in the presentation. The tools are great. Matrix, TransactionDesk. 2 stars because these tools comes at a premium that isn't just monetary. Part of it is the politics. I'd say 60 politics, 40 tools for your career. Investigate the origins of the National Association of REALTORs. They tell you are proudly in the orientation, 'NAR started as a group for white men...' NEXT.
