  • This second hand book shop on the west side of Yonge, just north of Wellesley, is my first choice for used book hunting. The atmosphere is unintentionally unique, and makes an experience out of browsing all of the used old and new books that take up the three floors of the very old house. It is also surprisingly quiet, despite being smack in the middle of the craziness that is bustling on Yonge. The shop owner is very kind, and knows his store well. Whenever asked for assistance he is very helpful, and knows whether he has the book on hand in most instances. He provides direction to where to find it, or will take you right to it, showing you the options(if there is more than one copy available). It is also asked upon entering to turn off your cell phone, which I really appreciate. This place is a real gem, I love to stop in when I find myself in the neighborhood.
