| - At first appearance this looked like a cozy little spot to enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine. That was, until we looked at the wine list. About 20 total selections, most of which were drastically overpriced and underwhelming. Our waiter, who told us he was also the bartender was nice as well as attentive, although he made it clear that his wine knowledge was limited when I asked for a "bold red with a smooth finish" and someone else came to have me sample wines that did not fit that bill. Now, on to the food... The tomato soup was SO sweet I couldn't tolerate it, so it was sent back. The risotto cakes were decent and came with a nice variety of sauces. We ordered the 5 cheese plate, which included what seemed to be American Feta (yuck) and grapes that were probably a week old. For $17, this was quite disappointing. Still not being full, I ordered the Lobster Mac, which for the record contains not 1 piece of Lobster. At that point I was a little too disillusioned to ask why they called it Lobster Mac, I figured I would probably hear that it had "lobster broth" or some lame thing like that, so I just decided to chalk it up to a $13 mistake. The chicken pot pie pie bites were a bit salty, the truffle fries were okay but not great. All in all, a $75 meal that would have been much better spent elsewhere, but at least now we know. If you are looking for an actual selection of wine with artisanal cheese, please spare yourself and go elsewhere. If you just want a quaint little place to sit down and have a cocktail, this might be an okay place.
