This was the second peameal bacon sandwich I tried at the St. Lawrence Market. It was made to order and had delightful caramelized parts on the meat, which added to the flavor. They also have an assortment of toppings that they put on for you. At the recommendation of the girl behind the counter, we added onions, peppers, and honey mustard. What a difference! The onions amplified the flavor of the meat, and I was very pleased by the sandwich. I wish the bread wasn't so dry though, but I think that might just be the type of bread that they use for peameal sandwiches.
