| - I've done both rooms offered at The Basement and they are, by far, the best escape rooms I've done in Vegas. Here's the lowdown ~
THE GOOD:
+ production quality
+ super immersive
+ talented performers
+ great story
+ challenging puzzles
THE DECENT:
~ price
THE BAD:
- nada
The best thing about this place is the immersion. The way they introduce the stories, how talented the actors play their roles, and the production are all well executed. All standard rules apply, such as no standing on objects, using excessive force, etc., but I appreciate that there's no signs saying you can't touch any fragile decor, all things that can't be moved are bolted down, and if you need hints, they have clever ways of nudging you along without taking you out of the story.
No budget production here (which is probably why you can't find them on Groupon), but they've got a decent locals discount you should take advantage of if you can.
Overall, while this place can be pricy, you get what you pay for, which is one of the best escape rooms offered in Vegas.
PRO TIP: While the room limit is 10 people, I think ~6 people is a more manageable size.
