| - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR OWNERS!
This is my 2nd review due to the owner asking me to delete my first one because it was a "threat". He told me if I deleted the review he would work with us but if I didn't delete the review he would not help us.
We used this company to move last weekend and from the start it was a disaster. To give you an idea of how simple this move should have been, it should have been done in less than an hour. We had 4 items total.
All 4 items were damaged. Both movers said the items were already damaged before the move, which is false. They also talked us out of the insurance due to the fact that it was an easy move, less than 3 miles.
Long story short, they cause over $1600 of damage, the movers took some of the broken items and said they would go fix them and return them, which they did not. The movers asked us to email the owners and they would "take care of it".
After multiple emails with the owner he finally reached out to us to ask to remove the Yelp review, which is all he cared about. After we explained to him what happen he didn't take responsibility and would not even apologize to us. He said he "didn't know about the job" so he wouldn't take responsibility for it. Essentially, his employees took the job off the books without him knowing, got paid cash by us, and never filled out an invoice and gave it to us. He told us we had "no proof" of this move happening so he would not reimburse us. I then sent him security footage of his employees moving the furniture which you can clearly see is broken. After this the owner gave us an ultimatum. We had 2 choices:
1. He would reimburse us for the move.
2. He would send us the cost of a broken drawer from Z gallery
Neither would happen if we didn't remove the yelp review.
He said he would not do both due to him "not making any money" if he did that.
To be clear the movers damaged a dresser, 2 night stands, a mattress, and a head board.
The dresser was glass and 1 of the drawers shattered. The mattress had 2 holes in it where they dragged it.
The dresser and the nightstands had areas where the paint was chipped off due to the movers not wrapping anything.
The owners really did not care about all of this and said he would send us a check for $130 or nothing at all.
At the end of the day we did get a check back for, $130 which was the cost of the move. We still have a broken dresser, scratched nightstands and a mattress and headboard with holes in them. Ali the owner never apologized because he didn't "know about the job". How can an owner not know about his employees doing jobs? Very poorly ran business. Taking hard earned money from people in AZ.
They care more about their yelp reviews than they do the people the are supposed to be helping. If I could give 0 stars I would, but Ali saved face and sent us a check so ill give him one star.
I cant even explain how frustrating communicating with these employees and owners were. They would not take any responsibility and deflected everything to us saying it was our fault. The entire situation ruined our weekend and we will never recommend this company to anyone.
