This was our first experience with Mexican-Asian fusion and it was fantastic. Not only as a fusion restaurant but as a Mexican restaurant and as an Asian restaurant. We had previously only had the salt foam margaritas here, which were great, but decided to try the food as well.
Don't be stupid is my motto for this restaurant. We read reviews and heard what people said was good. The negative reviews where some of the wilder food items or items that didn't seem good in general. Here is what you should try.
The lotus chips sounded odd but got good reviews. They were tasty. I couldn't taste the anis which was good as it's not my favorite flavor. They were like yucca chips when burnt and had a slightly unique flavor when less fried. Very good. The carnitas taco was amazing and one of the best tacos we've ever had. The pork rinds were a nice crunchy addition. The when pigs fly was also very good. My wife had never had dim sum and loved it! The ants climbing a tree noodles were spicy and delicious. Absolutely amazing. We ended up getting another taco, the
