  • I live in Gilbert but I was out in Tempe and decided to get my nails done at Pearl Nails. I had a pedicure done here before so I thought why not try it out for my hands. Worst mistake ever! I showed the manicurist a picture of what I wanted to get done and she suggested that I get a full set of acrylics done. I went with her suggestion and she did an awful job! The nails are shaped extremely wide, not like the picture and the nails and polish are so THICK! And when she first started to apply the gel polish I asked if she did a base coat and she never answered. After she said it was done, my thumb nail was still wet and sticky. I showed her and she said she fixed it. Leaving the salon, I couldn't stand looking at these horrendous nails. I contemplated going back in and asking them to take them off and for a refund. I didn't want to cause trouble and I wanted to leave. As soon as I got home I called my regular nail salon in Gilbert and they will be fixing my nails tomorrow. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS NICE LOOKING NAILS!
