  • I scheduled another visit with Kai and I even brought a sketch of what I wanted and he told me all he could do was a toner and that's it. I tried to explain that the mid shaft of my hair is too blonde for what I thought was supposed to be an ombré because the ends of my hair are darker than the mid shaft of my hair which I wasn't expecting. I was expecting the lightest points of my hair to be the ends after an ombré. Instead I have pale blonde for 6 inches of hair. I was expecting more of a third of my hair dark, then a third medium, and the bottom third light. I tried to add that I wear my hair up a lot and it doesn't look as natural as I would prefer and he just said he doesn't know my lifestyle. I know he didn't know that but I was hoping to try to communicate it so that perhaps we could come to some sort of plan to help me achieve what I wanted. I had money ready to fork out to pay for whatever was necessary on top of what I already paid to get what I originally wanted. I even paid him in full and tipped 20% last time. All I was asking from him was for him to listen to what I wanted and I even mentioned that I don't know if it was my fault for not communicating that better in the first place but I just wanted it fixed. I walked out crying. I really wanted to give this place a second chance to help me, but I guess that's not happening.
