  • Checked out this bar last night and had a good experience. The drink menu is something different than I had seen before: you select your mood and then pick a flavor profile and they make a custom cocktail based on that. I ended up ordering an "umami" flavored cocktail, mainly because I had never heard of such a thing and I was curious. It was sweeter than I expected, but I thought it was very good. I also tried a smoky scotch cocktail and that was also quite good. The service was excellent. The owner was there and gave us a tour of the place, explaining some of the history behind the building. They did a wonderful job retaining the character of the space. The price point is on the high end, at $15 for a cocktail, but if you can swing that I would encourage you to give this place a try. I will likely go back when I'm in Tremont. They do not serve any food, but I saw someone with a pizza box at the bar, and there are lots of good restaurants in the area.
