Just returned from a stay at the Residence Inn Phoenix Airport location. Overall the stay served the purpose of providing lodging for my stay during Christmas. However, there were issues worthy of comments. 1) The free breakfast is decent but you get what you pay for. Same thing every day -gets old, 2) I called the front desk to check on the time for breakfast using the phone in the room. The front desk and I couldn't hear each other due to the excessive amount of static in the line. Mx tried a new phone, no change. Phone stayed way that during the entire stay, 3) the security latch on the door was broken. I reported it to the front desk but nothing was done for the remainder of my stay. This was a 5 minute job. Lastly, the sliding mirrored doors on the closet were damaged and did not slide smoothly and easily came off the tracks. If you stay at this hotel, and they give you room 430, beware of these issues. Would think a Marriott rewards member might get better responsiveness.
